Smart Goals

We set a few goals for us as a team. We set one outcome goal, one performance goal and lastly one process goal. By setting this goals, we hope to become a more united group and we aim to improve our group work.

Outcome goal

Outcome goals are to do with winning or performing better than someone else. Our aim is to get the best group work marks in the first semester out of all the PPD groups.

We want to be able to do this, so when we get to the second year we can get the best internships as our grades will be the best; we will be the most attractive students of ISMB and other courses, as we have the best grades.

Performance goal

Performance goals specify a specific standard to be achieved. Performance goals are about personal standards and as such are unaffected by the performance of others and so totally under the control of the individual. As a group we want to reach the target of 7.0 in all our group assignments.

We want to be able to do this as a group for the semester that we are together. In order to push ourselves to be able to get to perform at the best of our ability in order to get the best marks we can possibly get. This goal focuses solely on our group.

Process goal

Process goals, over which the individual has complete control, deal with the technique or strategy necessary to perform well. Process goals can also be established to map the route to achieving the desired outcome goal. As  individuals, all members need to be in time for group meetings and getting group work done in time.

We want this, so as an individual we can do well in the ISMB course, so that later in the course and in life we can reach the best jobs in International Sports Management and Business. We want to be able to hand our work in on time and get to group meetings on time so that we have the most time to check and handle in our work. While also getting the most out of meetings because everyone is there, so we start on time and everyone knows what is going on within the group.
